Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo made some worrisome comments recently.
The former NBA Finals MVP recently admitted that he doesn’t watch much film, stating that he actually loves it when he doesn’t know who he’s going to face or what they are going to do.
That’s obviously not a good look for one of the faces of the league, let alone a player who’s repeatedly called out his teammates due to a lack of effort.
With that in mind, Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe had some harsh things to say about him in his Nightcap show, talking to Gilbert Arenas about how he should actually be ashamed of that attitude.
“Why would you ever say that? That might explain why you have had four coaches in a year,” Sharpe said.

Arenas, who has been one of Giannis’ harshest critics, claimed it wasn’t a surprise at all.
He pointed out the fact that Giannis hasn’t gotten any better in years, and that’s simply because he doesn’t watch any film to figure out his flaws and work on his craft.
He says that Giannis hasn’t added any layers to his game, a post move, or even a mid-range game in years, and he has a valid point there.
Arenas drew criticism for stating that Giannis didn’t actually understand the game of basketball, but how could you understand it if you don’t watch film?
At the end of the day, the Greek Freak is one of the most athletic people on Earth, and no one can question his work ethic when it comes to working on his body and staying fresh and ready.
But watching film is a huge part of being a professional, and perhaps that’s why he’s been bottled up in the playoffs so many times.
