Along with a lot of talented wide receivers available in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, headlined by Marvin Harrison Jr., there are quite a few proven veteran wideouts that will be available to the highest bidder in NFL free agency during the offseason.

One of the best options in NFL free agency at wide receiver will be Mike Evans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who is expected to hit the open market after recording his 10th straight season with over 1,000 receiving yards and at least three touchdowns.

Evans is one of the most consistent star players in the NFL and proves it time and time again, no matter whether it is Tom Brady throwing him the football or Baker Mayfield.

During the 2023 campaign, Evans was highly productive once again, as he caught 79 passes for 1,255 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns, which is one touchdown off his career-high total of 14.

With Evans expected to be a hot commodity on the open market, Craig Carton of FOX Sports believes the New York Jets will try to sign him, adding another weapon for superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers, via “The Carton Show.”

“They have to bring in a high-profile WR. This is our shot. You have to be all in,” Carton said.

Along with Evans, there will be a few other desirable veteran wide receivers available during free agency, including Tee Higgins, Michael Pittman, Marquise Brown, Calvin Ridley, and Gabe Davis.

With the way the league is going, a lot of teams might go the cheaper route and try to draft one of the many talented wide receivers in the upcoming draft.

However, teams on the cusp of a championship or at least close to contention may decide to go with a proven pass catcher.
