The Boston Celtics created an excellent starting lineup this past offseason with the addition of Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday.
On top of that, the Celtics already had the dynamic duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown on the roster.
While the aforementioned four stars have done an excellent job of steering the organization to the best record in the NBA right now, Derrick White’s contributions to the team’s success cannot be underestimated.
Many fans may overlook White’s numbers, but Kristaps Porzingis ensured to praise the Celtics guard via Celtics on NBC Sports Boston on Twitter.
“D-White is just– He’s so good,”

Porzingis mentioned that he loves playing with Derrick White because he is simply so good at the game of basketball.
Being on a team that features four NBA All-Star caliber players and still shining in the majority of the games in the season is not a small feat.
However, White is doing just that in the 2023-24 NBA season.
So far, he has played 53 games this season and contributed 15.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game for the Boston Celtics.
White continued his excellent form during the recent matchup between the Celtics and New York Knicks.
After having back-to-back games with more than 20 points, White added 13 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals for the Celtics.
White’s performance played a critical role in the Celtics registering a stunning 116-102 win over the Knicks.
Thanks to the victory, the Celtics are now 45-12 for the season and have further increased the gap between the second-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers, as they are eight games clear of them.
