Stephen Curry has changed the NBA, and not even his biggest detractor can deny that.
Whether you consider that to be a good thing or bad is not for us to debate, but his influence on the game is second to none in the past two decades.
Even so, besides his obvious talent, he’s also had to work and grind to master his craft.
That’s why coach Steve Kerr, who’s been around his fair share of NBA legends, didn’t hesitate to call him the most skilled player he’s ever seen.
That’s a lot coming from a guy who won championships side by side with Michael Jordan.
However, sports analyst Colin Cowherd seems to agree with him.
“Steph is more skilled than MJ. Michael was bigger, stronger, and more vertical but skilled? Nah, I’m taking Steph too,” Cowherd said.

He took to Twitter to react to Kerr’s words to argue that Curry is, indeed, more skilled than Jordan, even though he’s obviously not as athletic or as physically imposing.
That might sound like a reach or an overstatement to some, but if we were to talk about skill alone, perhaps they could have a valid point.
Curry has some of the greatest handles in NBA history, and his ability to get his shot off with little to no separation has made him a human highlight reel.
At the end of the day, there’s no objective way to measure this kind of thing, so to each his own, but this statement will fuel a big debate.
