LeBron James has plenty of arguments to be considered the greatest player in NBA history.

However, some of his biggest fans believe his legacy goes way beyond the court.

If anything, the fact that he’s been such a big role model from day one, being portrayed as a family man and a loving father, and avoiding scandals, makes his career all the more impressive.

While one may or may not agree with that, and while that definitely has absolutely nothing to do with his game or basketball career, it’s still admirable.

Unlike most NBA players, James has been together with his high school sweetheart, Savannah, through thick and thin, and he’s known for being a bit of a hopeless romantic.

Recently, former star Michael Beasley shared a story to prove that.

Talking on the Playmaker podcast, he recalled a time when he was with LeBron at a restaurant in New York City and Lebron bought a 100k painting for Savannah (via NBA Central).

James saw a picture on the wall and called his wife to tell him he wanted to recreate that photo shoot, and he actually bought it.

However, he didn’t even want to hang it in his house; he was just going to put it in storage and hang Savannah’s version after she recreated it.

The impressive part about this is that he spent $100,000 on that picture, with Beasley calling it a romantic and boss gesture.

James definitely has more than enough cash to spare, and nothing has ever been too pricey when it comes to his better half.
