David Bakhtiari’s time with the Green Bay Packers could be coming to an end.
He hasn’t been healthy since late 2020, and he’s about to have a massive cap hit next season.
The Packers have minimal cap space, and cutting ties with their legendary left tackle would save them north of $21 million.
That’s why most people speculate he’s not going to be at Lambeau Field next season.
With that in mind, the talented offensive lineman took to Instagram to share a bit of a cryptic tweet (Via Jacob Morley).
“Those who know, will appreciate. Those who appreciate, I won’t let down,” Bakhtiari posted.

Truth be told, there could still be an avenue for Bakhtiari to stay in Wisconsin if that’s what he truly wants.
He would have to agree to a new and restructured contract and serve as a veteran mentor for this young team.
That would be great for the organization and would only cement him further as one of the all-time greats.
Then again, that might not be in his best interest.
He could also look to get reunited with his close friend Aaron Rodgers.
The New York Jets are in desperate need of offensive line help, and they might be the only team willing to pay him big bucks with his history of injuries.
Bakhtiari is one of the best, if not the best, in his position when he’s healthy, but he was only able to make one appearance last season.
Whichever team bets on him will be taking a huge risk, but a player of his caliber is most definitely worth the gamble.
