Caleb Williams is viewed as one of the best quarterback prospects in recent history.
Some have compared him to a similar prospect to Andrew Luck or Trevor Lawrence.
If he lives up to the hype, he could provide an instant impact on whatever team decides to draft him in April.
There is a lot of speculation that the Chicago Bears will take him with the No. 1 overall pick, but that remains to be seen.
Williams’ activity has been closely monitored over the past few months given his prospect profile, and Ian Rapoport has recently provided the latest update in terms of his status.
According to Rapoport, Williams will not throw at the upcoming NFL Scouting Combine, electing to throw at his Pro Day.

This has become a common trend for some of the top quarterback prospects, players that are expected to go in the first round.
In Williams’ mind, he would rather throw in a controlled environment, rather than be subjected to what the Combine throws his way.
How will this decision pay off for the highly-touted QB?
Williams could be seen as a diva of sorts by not throwing at the Combine, especially since he is already attending the event for other aspects.
On the other hand, teams could see this as a sign of maturity, that he would prefer to give them his best at a pro day, rather than trying to rush something at the Combine.
It will be interesting to see what team drafts Williams, and if he turns out how many scouts are expecting.
