LeBron James has been the face of the NBA for almost two decades now.
And while it doesn’t sound like he’s going to retire at the end of the season, it’s safe to say that this is no longer his era and he may not have that much left in the tank.
Considering that, pundits and fans have debated who’s going to carry his torch once he, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant all ride into the sunset.
With that in mind, NBA analyst Mike Greenberg shared his prediction for the top five players who could be the next face of the league (Via Get Up).

At No. 5, he went with San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama, who already looks like a generational talent and a superstar in the making for his unmatched combination of size and shooting.
Then, he chose Ja Morant, who’s already one of the most popular players in the league but has had some off-court issues that may have taken a toll on his reputation.
Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum got the nod at No. 3, which is no surprise considering he’s the best player on the best team in the league.
Then, he talked about Luka Doncic, who could win his first MVP this season and who has taken the league by storm from day one.
However, he thinks that Giannis Antetokounmpo has an edge over all of them, and that makes sense, as he’s already an NBA champion and has put up a Hall of Famer-caliber résumé.
