It’s no secret that LeBron James has been one of the NBA’s best players since he entered the league.
He holds the league record for points in a career, and is just shy of 40,000 total points, a number that was believed to be unachievable.
James continues to defy logic when it comes to NBA careers, which has resulted in many believing he’s the best player in league history.
When a player of this magnitude has a son in the same sport, it can be tough for that child to live their own life, as they will constantly be compared to their father throughout their career.
Bronny James has had to work with this throughout his young career.
While Bronny played well when he was younger, he has struggled as a college player to this point.
LeBron has been complimentary of Bronny’s game at times, a topic that Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson recently discussed on their podcast, “Nightcap.”
“LeBron has to be careful when Jr. Bronny plays well,” Sharpe said.

There have been times when James has called Bronny better than some current NBA players, which Sharpe believes is a slippery slope.
He believes that, if James is not careful, all of his “hot takes” about his son will come back to bite him, which is not what he’s looking for when he makes these comments.
Before Bronny entered college, there was a lot of conversation that he and his father would link up on an NBA roster.
With his recent play in mind, that dream might not be able to become a reality.
