There are seemingly more good and great 3-point shooters than ever before in the NBA these days, and they have helped elevate the league’s quality of play to a new and higher level.
However, when one makes a list of the greatest shooters of all time, one may be partial to at least a couple of players from a previous era.
Milwaukee Bucks guard Malik Beasley is one of them, as he named just one active player — Stephen Curry — as one of his five greatest shooters ever, while going with Ray Allen, Kyle Korver, JJ Redick, and Mike Miller for the other four spots, per ClutchPoints.

Curry, of course, is considered by most to be the greatest shooter ever, and he is finally getting recognition for his prowess in crunch time.
Before Curry, Allen was considered by many to be arguably the best shooter ever, and he spent 18 seasons burning nets in arenas across the NBA.
He retired as the league’s all-time leader in made 3-pointers (Curry broke that record a couple of years ago), and he won two world championships with the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat.
That second title came thanks in large part to a lifesaving trey Allen made to force overtime in Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals, and that shot is one of the most memorable in basketball history.
Korver retired with a career mark of 42.9 percent from 3-point range over 17 seasons, while Redick made 41.5 percent in his 15 seasons.
Miller earned two rings on those Heat teams from about a decade ago, and he made a nice living there by making defenses pay for keying on LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.
