The Boston Celtics are currently the best team in the Eastern Conference, and it really isn’t close, with the team currently sporting an eight-game lead over the second-place Milwaukee Bucks.

Boston made all the right moves during the NBA offseason after getting beat by the eighth-seeded Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals last year, as adding Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday turned out to be game-changing moves.

With the Celtics currently cruising and all signs pointing to Boston locking up the top seed in the East, the pressure will be on the storied NBA franchise to win it all once the NBA playoffs get underway next month.

Although it seems as though the Celtics have the talent to wipe the floor with any opponent in the East, Nick Wright of FOX Sports believes they should still be terrified of Jimmy Butler and company once the postseason starts, via “The Herd with Colin Cowherd.”

“The other team I’m terrified of if I’m Boston is the playoff Miami Heat,” Wright said.

Last year, the Heat were an unstoppable force after they were able to clinch the eighth seed in the conference following the Play-In Tournament.

Miami was a team possessed with no opponent in the East worthy of sharing the same floor, as Erik Spoelstra’s squad cruised to the Eastern Conference Finals and nearly swept the Celtics until Boston turned it on and forced a Game 7.

Unfortunately for the Celtics, they couldn’t get the best of the Heat in the series and went home empty-handed, which was a devastating blow for the top-seeded squad.
