The Kansas City Chiefs were able to overcome a subpar wide receivers corps and several offensive miscues to get back to the Super Bowl and win it again.
Their defense deserves most of the credit for what they were able to accomplish, but so does Patrick Mahomes.
Simply put, having the best quarterback in the game will always give you a chance to win, regardless of the opponent.
That’s why former Chiefs star WR Tyreek Hill recently admitted that there’s absolutely no doubt that Mahomes is still the guy to beat and the No. 1 guy in the league (via Ryan Clark).
“He’s obviously the best QB in the league,” Hill said.
Tyreek Hill has played with two pro bowl QBs but there’s one that stands above all.

Hill had seemingly taken a shot at Mahomes as soon as he was traded to the Miami Dolphins.
He claimed that Tua Tagovailoa — who had yet to breakout as a player — was ‘the most accurate quarterback he had ever played with.’
However, he claims he never meant that to be a diss at his former quarterback.
At the end of the day, everybody’s entitled to their opinion, and Tua’s accuracy has really been a remarkable trait of his game.
Then again, even if he’s more accurate than Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs quarterback continues to stand in a tier of his own in the league, and he’ll continue to be the face of the game for as long as he stays healthy.
