The Dallas Cowboys will be in the market for a running back.

Tony Pollard will be a free agent, and while he was quite efficient as a change-of-pace back in the Ezekiel Elliott era, he left something to be desired as the main guy.

Notably, this will be a deep running back free-agency class, with guys like D’Andre Swift, Saquon Barkley, Austin Ekeler, Pollard, and even Josh Jacobs up for grabs.

However, Louis Riddick believes the Cowboys should target someone else: Derrick Henry.

Talking on ESPN’s Get Up, the former player claimed that the Cowboys need someone who can change their attitude, calling Henry ‘a hammer,’ and stating that he’s someone who could have a major impact on their culture.

“They need an attitude back, that’s what they need on offense,” Riddick said.

He thinks they don’t need to spend big bucks to get Saquon Barkley or someone else, stating that Henry plays with an attitude, and he’s not going to be bullied around when other teams look to make a statement against the Cowboys.

Derrick Henry is one of the most imposing physical specimens this game has ever seen.

He might not be as efficient in Dallas as he was with the Tennessee Titans because he might not get the same volume of touches he used to have with CeeDee Lamb out there.

Then again, he’d be the ultimate addition for a team that has had to rely on the run game to avoid putting all the responsibility in Dak Prescott’s hands, especially when it counts.

It might seem like a long shot, but it would be a no-brainer fit.
