The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to make history.
They could become the first team in Super Bowl history to win three consecutive titles.
They’re just the eighth team to win back-to-back Vince Lombardi trophies, so what has proven to be tough already, could now become even more improbable.
Considering that, NFL analyst Harry Douglas believes the Detroit Lions are the biggest threat on their way to a three-peat.
Talking on ESPN’s “First Take,” Douglas argued that a guy like Jared Goff has proven that he has what it takes to take down the Chiefs, just like he did last season.
He also argued that the Lions were quite close to upsetting the San Francisco 49ers and making it to the Super Bowl last season, calling out Dan Campbell for not running the football and for his decision-making in the NFC Championship Game.

Of course, this is a bit of a hot take, but it’s not that far-fetched, as the Lions should only keep getting better with more experience.
However, they’re not the biggest powerhouse in the NFC right now, with the Philadelphia Eagles and 49ers still ahead of them.
Also, the Lions will get better, but so will the Chiefs.
They’ll have a full offseason to solve their offensive woes from last season and give Patrick Mahomes some legitimate weapons in the passing game.
Still, if winning two in a row was difficult, winning three consecutive Super Bowls may not be doable, but if someone can try, that’s definitely the Chiefs.
