After winning 10 of their first 11 games during the 2023 season, the Philadelphia Eagles fell apart down the home stretch of their schedule and got blown out in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.

It was a pretty big fall from grace for a team that held a 10-point lead in Super Bowl LVII before losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the closing seconds.

DeSean Jackson, a former star wide receiver for the Eagles back in the day, told Kay Adams on “Up & Adams” that the Eagles should draft wide receiver Xavier Worthy.

“Philadelphia Eagles, you better go get that boy ASAP.”

Worthy has made headlines for his 40-yard dash time at the NFL Scouting Combine, which was 4.21 seconds, a new record.

In 2023, he caught 75 passes for 1,014 yards and five touchdowns as a member of the University of Texas Longhorns, and while he isn’t the best WR prospect, he is an intriguing one.

He doesn’t have the best hands, and he weighs only about 170 pounds, but his speed could help him become a star at the next level.

Since the Eagles were shoved out of the playoffs by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, there have been rumors that they may end up trading A.J. Brown, their best wideout and overall offensive threat.

Brown had another sensational season in 2023 with 106 receptions, 1,456 yards, and seven touchdowns.

Whether Brown stays or goes, Worthy could be an interesting get for Philly, perhaps later in the draft, as a prospect to at least take a flyer on.

They will have nine picks in this year’s draft, including the No. 22 selection in the first round.
