After a two-year failed experiment, the Denver Broncos have announced they are parting ways with Russell Wilson.
Wilson was brought in to help this team achieve success, but unfortunately, he could not make that happen.
The Broncos are going back to the drawing board, leaving Wilson to find a new team for 2024.
After hearing this news, several potential suitors have been mentioned, including the Pittsburgh Steelers.
David Jacoby recently spoke about this in a segment of The Carton Show, saying, “As far as I’m concerned, this deal is done. This is gonna happen.”

Jacoby’s strong sentiment comes after a report that Wilson and the Steelers have a mutual interest in each other.
The Steelers have been craving a long-term starting quarterback since the departure of Ben Roethlisberger.
Roethlisberger was a staple of this franchise for many years, and while they drafted Kenny Pickett to take his place, he hasn’t turned out as well as the team initially anticipated.
Wilson could be a good fit for this team, especially considering the young skill-position players the Steelers would have around him.
Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren could help support him in the running game. Diontae Johnson, George Pickens, and Pat Freiermuth are young, proven options that could make Wilson’s first season successful, assuming everyone can gel together immediately.
The Steelers were one of the NFL’s best teams for several years, a standing they would like to get back to as soon as possible.
Will the team take a chance on Wilson, hoping he can get back to a place of being an MVP-level player?
