The Golden State Warriors have enjoyed great success in the modern era of the NBA.
In a time when most teams rely on signing superstar free agents from the open market, the Warriors built the core of Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson by drafting them.
It resulted in the organization winning four NBA Championships in six trips to the finals since 2015.
The Warriors are now obviously moving into a new era with a different crop of young players currently developing to become the future stars of the team.
One hidden gem that the franchise found this season is the 57th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, Trayce Jackson-Davis.
Jackson-Davis is rapidly growing into a trustworthy asset for the team, but the journey hasn’t been easy for the rookie.
The 24-year-old recently shed light on his transition from being a newcomer to earning his spot on the team via 95.7 The Game.
“At the beginning of the year, things were a little quick. Now when I get in, I feel like I belong out there,” Jackson-Davis said.

Being a late second-round pick is never an easy task for a basketball player.
The organization doesn’t really have big expectations from them, but it also means a lack of playing time.
However, Jackson-Davis is averaging 13.3 minutes per game for the team this season.
Now, the rookie believes that he belongs to the team despite being worried about things moving quickly at the start of the season.
Jackson-Davis is currently averaging 6.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game for the Warriors.
If given enough time to develop, he could become a solid role player for the organization in the foreseeable future.
