A lot of people were ragging on the Boston Celtics Thursday night after their tough loss to the reigning champion Denver Nuggets.
Some people claimed that the defeat proved Boston wouldn’t be able to beat Denver in the Finals.
But NBA analyst Jason Timpf still believes the Celtics can beat the Nuggets, especially if the team’s two biggest stars commit to physical aggression.

Timpf highlighted the hard work of Jaylen Brown on Thursday, saying that he was pushing hard past opponents and making his way into the paint in order to score.
He said that Tatum also has the ability to do that, he just doesn’t rely on it enough.
If Tatum tweaks his game and allows himself to get aggressive and attempt to sail past competitors, especially in the paint, the Celtics could beat the Nuggets.
Tatum received some bad reviews for this game against the Nuggets.
He was cited for some flawed shots, sloppy turnovers, and more.
It was the second time this week that Tatum had an off-night and many people noticed.
But just because Tatum had a few tough games doesn’t mean that the Celtics aren’t still the odds-on favorites to go all the way to the Finals.
And although the Nuggets aren’t the top seed in their conference, many fans and analysts believe they are also favorites to contend for another championship.
If it really is the Celtics versus the Nuggets this year, Boston will have to figure out how to take them down because they have lost to them twice in the regular season.
That will require that Tatum, and everyone else, play at the best of their abilities.
