The Golden State Warriors have been highly inconsistent during the 2023-24 NBA season.

Despite having a roster of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, and Jonathan Kuminga, the Warriors have struggled at times.

The 2022 NBA champions have had some big wins over the past few weeks, but they failed to register a win against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.

Considering the Spurs had Victor Wembanyama sidelined, it was undoubtedly a tough loss for the Warriors.

Klay Thompson scored a team-high 27 points along with 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block.

During the postgame conference, Thompson shared his thoughts on the defeat via Warriors on NBCS.

“It’s just a bad loss, not good, but we’ll flush it and bounce back Monday,” Thompson said.

Losing to the 15th-seed Spurs without their best player on the court is certainly a new low for the Warriors this season.

Thompson didn’t mince his words about the Warriors’ loss, but he urged the team to flush it and focus on their Monday night matchup.

However, the Warriors will most likely enter the game without Stephen Curry on the roster, who suffered an ankle injury against the Chicago Bulls.

Keeping that in mind, the 33-30 Warriors will need to find a way to win without the 2x NBA MVP on the court.

Can the Warriors overcome the absence of Curry? Only time will tell.
