After weeks of speculation, drama, and questions about his future, Russell Wilson has found a new home.
Wilson was believed to have played his last snap with the Denver Broncos in 2023, a rumor substantiated when the team released him.
While it was initially unknown where Wilson would end up, fans are now aware, thanks to Adam Schefter’s latest report.
Schefter highlighted Wilson’s free-agent signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Wilson is only slated to sign for a one-year deal with the Steelers, which is said to be “team-friendly” by Schefter’s definition.
This is a relatively risk-free signing for the Steelers, especially since the Broncos are paying him a large chunk of money to play for a rival within the AFC.

Some fans and analysts chose to focus on the fiscal implications of this deal.
