The Philadelphia Eagles started the 2023 season with a 10-1 record, looking unstoppable to other teams across the league.
It appeared that this team was poised to make another deep postseason run, as they were firing on all cylinders.
However, for one reason or another, the wheels fell off the bus.
Their final games of the season looked completely different than they had to start the year, and as a result, they lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
After watching themselves go through that heartbreak, the Eagles were determined to make some big moves in the offseason to ensure this didn’t happen again.
They took their shot on the first day of free agency, which paid off immensely.
Saquon Barkley signed a three-year deal with the team, adding to an already impressive offense.
The NFL recently posted a photo of Barkley with the Eagles’ other top offensive players, which has gotten fans talking.

Barkley joins Jalen Hurts, Dallas Goedert, A.J. Brown, and DeVonta Smith, a unit that is now regarded among the best in the league.

After seeing this photo, fans couldn’t help but be excited.
With Barkley on the field, the Eagles run game gets that much better, which, in turn, helps open the door to a better passing game.
Hurts has showcased that he can be a great passer when given the opportunity, and Barkley’s presence should give him that opportunity.
