The Golden State Warriors faced their second-straight game without Stephen Curry on Monday night.
Thankfully for the devoted, and somewhat worried, fans of the team, the Warriors were able to defeat the San Antonio Spurs, 112-102.
Following the win, head coach Steve Kerr updated NBC Sports and the media about the status of Curry and if he would be returning soon.
“I don’t expect him to play in Dallas,” Kerr said, confirming that Curry won’t be with the team when they take on the Mavericks Wednesday night.

Kerr admitted that playing the Mavericks without Curry would be tough but there is still hope that they could beat Dallas despite that.
The two teams aren’t that far apart in the standings, with the Mavericks the eighth seed while the Warriors are tenth.
The Mavericks have a 37-28 record, while the Warriors hold a 34-30 mark.
That proves that the Warriors could pull out a victory but it definitely won’t be easy.
They will have to rely a lot more on Chris Paul, who filled in for Curry in the starting five on Monday.
That worked out very well for the team, as Paul almost scored a triple-double with 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists in the win.
Curry’s injury isn’t very severe so he could be back soon, which would be a blessing for the Warriors.
The roster is deeper than it has been in years but there is no sense in denying the fact that Curry remains the team’s best and most important player.
His presence on the court immediately lifts the chances of the Warriors and they need him now, especially as they try to hold onto a spot in the upcoming Play-In Tournament.
