The 2023-24 NBA regular season has not been kind to the Golden State Warriors, with the team dealing with a number of issues throughout the year that have resulted in the team failing to live up to expectations to this point.
As if things weren’t bad enough for the storied NBA franchise this season, superstar guard Stephen Curry recently went down with an ankle injury that has caused him to miss some games at a time when the team needs him the most in order to stay in playoff contention in a highly competitive Western Conference.
The Warriors are desperately hanging onto the 10th spot in the West, which is just behind the Los Angeles Lakers, who have also had a rough season up to this point and simply want to be playoff-bound when the postseason begins next month.
Fortunately for the Warriors, it appears Curry might not miss much more time, which obviously bodes well for the team remaining competitive and staying in the playoff picture.
According to Kendra Andrews of ESPN, Curry has been cleared for on-court workouts.
Stephen Curry has been cleared to resume on court workouts, the Warriors say. He will do so in the Bay Area before rejoining the team for practice on Friday in LA.

With the Warriors going back and forth with the Lakers in terms of seeding in the West, the team’s upcoming matchup with LeBron James and company will be crucial.
Golden State will go on the road to face Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night before traveling to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers on Saturday at Crypto.com Arena, where Curry could conceivably make his return to the basketball floor.
