The Minnesota Vikings could have Sam Darnold behind center in 2024.
He’s currently their best option at quarterback, and — all due respect to him — that’s not great news for the fan base.
That’s why former NFL WR Greg Jennings believes the team is at serious risk of losing Justin Jefferson.
Talking on The Carton Show, Jennings stated that Jefferson has all the leverage now, adding that he must not be happy about the Vikings’ decision to let Kirk Cousins leave.
“The Vikings are at risk of losing Justin Jefferson,” Jennings said.

Jefferson was vocal about his desire to play with Cousins.
Even though they could franchise-tag him, he could also force his way out of Minnesota.
With that in mind, Craig Carton stated that the Vikings could get a massive haul in return for the LSU product.
He pointed at the Cincinnati Bengals as an obvious destination, as he’d obviously love to be reunited with fellow Tigers Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase, adding that they’ve cleared plenty of salary cap space as of late.
The Vikings currently don’t have a roster that’s good enough to compete at the highest level, not even in their own division, as the NFC North will be a battle for years to come.
But if they’re real about rebuilding, moving on from one of the best wide receivers in the game could get them all the assets they need to start on the right foot, as painful as it may seem at first.
