The Sacramento Kings outlasted the Los Angeles Lakers again.
The Lakers used to dominate this rivalry, but the tide has officially changed.
They’re clearly not the best team in the division anymore, and it’ll be a while before they reclaim that distinction.
Wednesday night’s loss was particularly a bad one.
The Lakers seemed in control early before the Kings stormed back.
Following the loss, sports analyst Skip Bayless didn’t waste the opportunity to take a big shot at LeBron James.
He took to Twitter to reveal that the Kings have beaten the Lakers eight out of the last nine times, questioning James’ leadership and greatness.
“The Kings still rule the King. This will make 8 of the last 9. You’d think at some point he’d say, “Enough.” Nope. Not yet,” Bayless said.

This isn’t anything new, as Bayless has been overly critical of every single thing LeBron does — or doesn’t do — throughout the course of his entire career.
Notably, this loss isn’t just on James, and the Lakers shouldn’t have to count on a player in his 21st season to have to bail them out every single night.
Anthony Davis is supposed to be the team’s alpha dog on both ends of the floor, and the coaching has been quite subpar as well.
D’Angelo Russell fell right back to earth with a six-point performance, going just 2 for 9 from the field.
That kind of inconsistency is exactly why some fans doubt that he’s going to be able to carry that momentum into the playoffs, and he seems to be way more comfortable when James isn’t on the court.
