The Kansas City Chiefs are striving for history.
Andy Reid’s team could become the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
Needless to say, that’ll be way easier said than done; otherwise, other teams would’ve done it.
There are a lot of things that could stand in a team’s way to the top.
Injuries, trades, tough luck, and the fact that everybody will be going at your neck and building their teams solely to take your strengths away from you.
With that in mind, sports analyst Chris “Mad Dog” Russo put together his list of the top-five biggest threats to the Chiefs’ potential three-peat (via First Take).

The San Francisco 49ers got the nod at No. 5, which isn’t much of a surprise, as they’ve been up against them in the Super Bowl twice in recent years, although they’ve failed to beat them both times.
Then, he chose the Cleveland Browns, an up-and-coming team with a championship-caliber defense that might only be a Deshaun Watson good season away from the big game.
He later chose the Baltimore Ravens, who were quite close to taking them down last season, but failed to move the chains in the second half of the AFC Championship Game.
Unsurprisingly, he chose the Buffalo Bills at No. 2, as they’ve been quite close to beating them in the playoffs multiple times, but have been on the wrong end of some tough luck.
Last but not least, he chose the Detroit Lions, who look like a legitimate contender to come out of the NFC next season.
