The 2024 NFL Draft is rapidly approaching.

Caleb Williams has been considered the undisputed No. 1 prospect in the class for months.

Williams has been a fantastic quarterback for USC, and he won the Heisman Trophy as a result of his efforts in 2022.

Despite being the No. 1 overall prospect for several months, Tim Hasselbeck believes the tides have changed.

Hasselbeck recently declared that Drake Maye is the best prospect in the class in an appearance on “Get Up” on ESPN.

When referencing Maye, he said, “I think he’s going to be a better pro than college player.”

Hasselbeck does preface his comments by saying that he doesn’t think Williams is a bad player.

In his mind, both Maye and Williams will excel at the NFL level, but he now has a slightly higher prospect grade on Maye.

According to the latest mock drafts, most analysts project Williams to be the No. 1 pick, while Maye is either slotted in as the No. 2 or No. 3 pick, depending on who is conducting the mock.

Jayden Daniels is the other quarterback who tends to sneak in between Maye and Williams.

No matter how this draft goes down, the excitement continues to build, and it should make for three entertaining days of football content.

Teams could be forever changed by the results of this draft, especially teams that are expecting to select their future franchise quarterbacks.

It will be interesting to see where these top quarterback prospects end up and whether they prove to be worth high draft capital.
