The New York Giants have had one of the best offseasons in the league this year.

Even though they lost Saquon Barkley and Xavier McKinney, they were still able to improve their shaky offensive line, all while adding even more strength to their defense.

Nonetheless, they still have a big problem at the quarterback position.

Daniel Jones was far from good last season when healthy, and it’s starting to seem like he’s always going to be dealing with injuries.

That’s why NFL analyst Craig Carton believes this team could be in some serious trouble in the foreseeable future.

He doesn’t think that the Giants have enough talent at the skill player positions to give Jones a hand, and he doesn’t see him as the long-term solution at the position either.

Talking on The Carton Show, he even went as far as to predict that Bill Belichick could be lurking around to take his job.

“The New York Giants are in trouble and Brian Daboll is in trouble,” Carton said.

Carton stated that Belichick would most likely spend the entire season away from football, but he would take the Giants’ job in the blink of an eye if they were to fire Daboll.

Truth be told, it’s hard to argue with the fact that the Giants have no talent whatsoever in their wide receivers corps, and while they do have a top-10 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, they might try to use it to trade up and get another quarterback.

Whatever the case, it’s a tricky situation in the Big Apple, and it’ll be interesting to see how this pans out.
