After a disappointing finish to this past NFL season, the Philadelphia Eagles headed into the offseason with some drastic changes potentially on the horizon as the team tries to get back to title contention in the NFC.

Although it seemed as though the Eagles would part ways with head coach Nick Sirianni after the team’s collapse in the regular season, the storied franchise decided to keep him in the fold and direct its energy to upgrading the roster.

Along with recently adding Saquon Barkley, DeVante Parker, Kenny Pickett, and Parris Campbell, the Eagles have reportedly parted ways with linebacker Haason Reddick by trading him to the New York Jets, according to Josina Anderson of CBS Sports.

The Jets, much like the Eagles, are trying to right the ship during this NFL offseason, with the team doing everything within its power to surround superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers with enough talent to turn this team into a legitimate title contender in the AFC.

Adding Reddick is another step in the right direction for New York, which appears determined to be a force to be reckoned with heading into the 2024 NFL season.

Along with adding Reddick to bolster the defense, the Jets have added wide receiver Mike Williams and left tackle Tyron Smith, giving Rodgers a solid target downfield and some much-needed protection upfront with one of the best offensive linemen in the league.

Only time will tell whether the Jets have made the right moves to bounce back after a forgettable 2023 campaign, but the team seems on the right track to do so.
