For years, Travis Kelce was one of the most famous names in the National Football League.
He was considered the best tight end in the league, and even entered the ‘greatest tight end of all time’ debate.
Now, the three-time Super Bowl champion has spread his wings and is a very popular figure in the pop scene as well, as he’s been dating pop star Taylor Swift for quite a while now.
With that in mind, former NFL MVP Cam Newton shared a big piece of advice with him.
Talking on his 4th-and-1 podcast, he claimed that every single time you’re known as X’s person’s boyfriend, you’ve officially made it.
He added that Kelce wouldn’t have to do most of the things he would’ve had to do in a different relationship, urging him not to mess things up.
Newton stated that Kelce might not be able to come back from this one if he messes things up with Swift (via Tayvis Warriors).

All jokes aside, Newton has a valid point right there.
Taylor Swift reportedly has a net worth of $900 million, and she has a strong case for being the most famous woman on Earth right now.
She’s so famous that a future first-ballot Hall of Famer and one of the best players in the game right now has to take a backseat.
Hopefully, they’ll continue to do well and keep on building the loving, caring, and supportive relationship they seem to have.
And that’s for his own sake as well.
