It’s hard to think of a bad NBA team being must-watch television at this point in the season.

The San Antonio Spurs have been out of the playoff race for most of the campaign, yet it’s almost impossible not to tune in when they’re playing, and all of that has to do with Victor Wembanyama.

The No. 1 pick is a fun player to watch in the league right now, and it’s not even close.

That’s why Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett couldn’t stop praising him in the latest edition of his show.

Garnett believes that the league is in trouble because this is the worst we’ve seen of Wembanyama, adding that he’s not only going to get stronger but also smarter.

He believes it’s just a matter of time before Wembanyama starts seeing through defenses, praising him for being so humble and eager to be coached despite being such a big and prominent name (via All The Smoke Productions).

Buckle up. Wemby’s lifting off.

Even with the lofty expectations, @KevinGarnett5KG is floored by what he’s seeing from @wemby in his rookie year. Salute, Victor.

Garnett also praised him for setting the blueprint for the modern-day big man, stating that he looks like Kevin Durant or a small forward out there with his dynamic game and what he’s doing on offense.

Wembanyama is just electric to watch.

He’s dunking from the free-throw line, putting big men on posters, making defenders miss with his crafty moves, knocking down shots from beyond the arc, and then swatting basketballs into the stands.

He’s been everything that scouts advertised and even more, and the fact that he played most of his rookie season also shut down doubts about his durability.
