Something got into LeBron James on Sunday night and the Los Angeles Lakers really benefited from it.
James went off for 40 points, including shooting incredibly from beyond the three-point arc.
James was good for nine three-pointers during the game and helped LA score a 116-104 victory.
On Monday’s “Undisputed,” Skip Bayless had nothing but great things to say about James.
“When he gets hot, he gets crazy hot,” Bayless said, before adding, “This might have been as hot as I’ve ever seen him.”

James truly was looking like someone ready to win.
As noted by Bayless, Keyshawn Johnson, and Paul Pierce, it appeared as if James was toying with the Brooklyn Nets at times during the game.
He was feeling great and playing with confidence and, of course, unparalleled skill.
Bayless isn’t always very complimentary of James but he had nothing but the highest of praise for him on Monday.
The one issue he had with James regarded the playoffs.
Can the Lakers star continue to perform like this in the weeks ahead, if LA is able to fight into the postseason like they did last year?
In order to make that happen, James will need many more games like the one on Sunday night, but he will need them against tougher opponents.
What are the chances of him putting up 40 points and 9 three-pointers against a team like the Denver Nuggets or Sacramento Kings?
The Lakers will also need the rest of the roster to perform greatly too.
At this point, it’s always amazing to see James perform as he did during Sunday’s game, but the Lakers will need much more of that power and skill in the weeks ahead unless they want an extra-long summer vacation.
