On Sunday night, superstar forward LeBron James put on a show against the Brooklyn Nets, as he led the Los Angeles Lakers to victory with an inspired performance, which defied logic for a 39-year-old with over two decades of miles on his body playing on the NBA level.

James was cooking against the Nets as he efficiently dropped 40 points and had their fans cheering for him at Barclays Center as he was hitting three after three.

Ultimately, James finished the game hitting nine of the 10 three-pointers he attempted and seemed like a man playing more like a 20-year-old rather than someone that’s less than a year away from officially being over the hill.

After the win over the Nets in Brooklyn, James was asked how much longer he’d play in the NBA and made it clear that he doesn’t have much time left playing on the professional level.

This has once again led to speculation about James’ future in the league and how much longer he’ll play in the league, with his former teammate Danny Green chiming in and believing the four-time NBA champion will probably only play for one more year, via NBA on ESPN.

“LeBron plays maybe one more year,” Green said.

Even though Green thinks the superstar forward only has a year left in the league, it remains to be seen if that’s what James chooses to do, as his body isn’t slowing down as quickly as people anticipated at this age.

That said, James could probably play for a few more years, but he may not want to at this point.
