The star-studded quarterback class in the 2024 NFL Draft is understandably getting the majority of the attention heading into draft season, but there are a couple of all-time great wide receiver prospects projected to go right behind those signal-callers to round out the top 5.

One of those guys is LSU’s Malik Nabers, who is making a late push to overtake Marvin Harrison Jr. as the first receiver off the board, and according to a recent report, his status as potentially the best receiver prospect is not just a smokescreen.

Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network has reported that Nabers is visiting the Arizona Cardinals today and will be visiting the Los Angeles Chargers tomorrow.

Nabers, considered WR1 by multiple teams, got rave reviews on pro day testing/showing.

Arizona has the fourth pick in the draft, while the Chargers are picking fifth.

Nabers has already met with the New York Giants, who have the No. 6 pick, which is a spot that is starting to look like it could represent Nabers’ floor as a prospect.

Harrison has been the projected top receiver in this class for over a year, but Wolfe added that multiple teams truly consider Nabers to be the superior talent after his stellar Pro Day and NFL Combine performances.

A big reason why Nabers is looked at as the superior prospect is his potential for having a higher ceiling.

Nabers is explosive with the ball in his hands and his athleticism tested off the charts over the past few weeks.

With meetings scheduled for the teams picking 4-6, anyone picking seventh or later might be dreaming if they think Nabers will be available for them.
