The Buffalo Bills recently traded away Stefon Diggs in one of the most surprising moves of the offseason.

Diggs had expressed some unhappiness with the organization, and due to the large cap hit the Bills needed to take by trading him, fans and analysts were unsure if the team would execute a trade.

While Diggs’ dead cap hit did put them in a financial bind, they ultimately decided to cut their losses.

Diggs did appear to be frustrated with the Bills at times, but now that he is gone, he seems to have a deep appreciation for his former team and the fanbase that followed them.

Reporter Aaron Wilson highlighted Diggs’ goodbye message, which read, “I can’t begin to express the amount of love and respect I have for the city of Buffalo. Four of the best years of my life, the city welcomed me with open arms. I’m forever grateful for you all and the [Bills] organization!” Diggs wrote on Instagram.

Diggs called out the fanbase, his teammates, and the organization in this farewell note.

He indicated that what the organization made was “special,” even if they didn’t win any Super Bowls.

Diggs will now take his talents to Houston, where he will attempt to help take C.J. Stroud and the offense to new heights.

Josh Allen’s growth is primarily attributed to the Bills trading for Diggs, so if he can provide a similar impact to Stroud, the sky could be the limit for the Texans moving forward.

They made the playoffs without him last season, and with him on the roster in 2024, they might be able to make an even deeper run.
