The Buffalo Bills are going to look very different next season.
With Gabe Davis and Stefon Diggs out of the picture, Josh Allen might not have a lot to work with.
Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid should still be major threats in the passing game, and James Cook should have a prominent role in the offense.
Still, that might not translate to a lot of success, or at least not as much as they’ve had in the past.
That’s why ESPN analyst Mike Greenberg wanted to get ahead of the narrative and defend Allen.
Talking on “Get Up,” he predicted that it wouldn’t be long before pundits and fans start to blame Allen for trying to do too much on offense and force things.

Then again, it’s not like he has a lot to work with, so it’s obvious that he’s going to have to do more than the average quarterback.
Greenberg believes the Bills aren’t being fair to their quarterback right now, and they cannot hope that a rookie wide receiver will be enough to lead this team to the Super Bowl.
The Bills are tight against the salary cap, and they cannot afford to trade for a big-name wideout.
So, they might either love what they have on their hands, or they couldn’t stand Diggs for a second longer.
Whatever the case, life won’t get any easier for their franchise quarterback in 2024.
