The 2023-24 NBA regular season is coming down to the wire with only a handful of games left for teams in the league to secure their position in the playoff picture in both the Western and Eastern Conferences.
One team that has been as intriguing as any in the NBA this season has been the New York Knicks, with point guard Jalen Brunson quickly turning into a legitimate superstar and the new face of the storied franchise.
Unfortunately for New York, the team has dealt with two costly injuries, with veteran newcomer OG Anunoby being on the shelf basically since they traded for him and Julius Randle also dealing with an injury that will keep him out for the rest of the season.
Brunson has been doing everything he can to keep the Knicks afloat in the East while holding on to one of the higher seeds in the conference.
With the Knicks putting on a show this season with Brunson leading the way, ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins has been singing their praises on a daily basis, as he believes the team’s culture has become something to watch, via NBA on ESPN.
“They have developed a culture that has become eye candy to the rest of the league,” Perkins said.

Unfortunately for New York, the team has started to struggle in the final stretch of the regular season, as the Knicks have lost three straight games and were just overtaken by the Orlando Magic for fourth place in the East.
Although the Knicks can still bounce back, there are reasons for concern, as some wonder if they can overcome not having Randle and Anunoby moving forward.
