A couple of reinforcements the Pittsburgh Steelers have brought in this offseason could result in them taking a step forward and perhaps even becoming a dark-horse team this coming season.
They brought in veteran future Hall of Fame quarterback Russell Wilson and star linebacker Patrick Queen, and they will join a team that went 10-7 and made the playoffs in 2023.
The running back position is also looking pretty solid for the Steelers, and on Thursday, they whittled down their depth chart there by releasing Alfonzo Graham, per ProFootballTalk.

Graham joined Pittsburgh a year ago as an undrafted free agent, but because of a torn labrum he suffered during training camp, he didn’t play at all during the regular season.
He played four years of college football, and during that time, he suited up for Arizona Western College, Fullerton College, and Morgan State University.
While at Morgan State, he ran for 1,150 yards and eight touchdowns during the 2022 season.
At running back, the Steelers will still be going with their tag-team duo of Najee Harris, their full-time starter, and Jaylen Warren.
The arrival of Wilson, who has always been a legitimate dual-threat quarterback, will also give Pittsburgh another option in their ground game.
He had 341 yards and three touchdowns on the ground while throwing for 3,070 yards and 26 touchdowns in 2023 as a member of the Denver Broncos.
The Broncos’ experiment with Wilson is mercifully over, and he has now joined one of the NFL’s most iconic franchises that is looking for a return to glory.
