After finishing with the best record in the AFC last season, Baltimore has proven its among the elite teams in their conference and can compete with the back-to-back Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
This offseason, the Ravens signed Derrick Henry, further solidifying their offensive run game as perhaps the league’s best next season.
What position should Baltimore focus on with their top selection in the 2024 NFL Draft or in free agency?
Analyst Bobby Trosset shared on Twitter an ESPN analyst’s thoughts about which position Baltimore needs help with, picking the wide receiver position as the Ravens’ biggest need.
“Receiver is still on the radar for Baltimore,” Jeremy Fowler said.
.@JFowlerESPN just now on NFL Live:
“Receiver is still on the radar for Baltimore. They’re looking around. They want a true X receiver for Lamar Jackson. He’s never really had that. Somebody on the outside, big, who can win.” #RavensFlock

Fowler mentioned that the Ravens are looking for a special wide receiver to pair with Lamar Jackson, a move that could take this special offense to the next level.
In 2023, rookie Zay Flowers was Baltimore’s leading wide receiver with 77 receptions, 858 receiving yards, and five scores.
Pairing Flowers with another rookie wide receiver would give Baltimore an aerial offensive threat the Ravens haven’t experienced in years, not to mention significant salary cap space room to add more veterans to either the offensive or defensive unit after the draft.
Two elite receivers in the same starting lineup is also something that Jackson has never had at any point in his career, Fowler added.
