The Milwaukee Bucks have hit a rough patch at the worst time.
They have now lost three games in a row, taken down by the Washington Wizards, Memphis Grizzlies, and Toronto Raptors over the last several days.
Following Friday’s loss to the Raptors, head coach Doc Rivers didn’t hold back.
“The last three were against three bad teams. To me, that’s inexcusable. For all of us. As I told them, this is on me. I gotta figure out what we gotta do to play at a higher pace,” Rivers said, via NBACentral.

Losing to any of these teams is indeed quite shocking, especially because the Bucks are the second seed in the East.
In theory, they should have easily moved past the Wizards, Grizzlies, and Toronto.
In practice, they were outplayed at every turn.
Of course, the Bucks were without Damian Lillard for two of those games and without Giannis Antetokounmpo on Friday night.
Regardless, these were all underdog teams compared to Milwaukee.
Rivers is taking full responsibility for the losses, which is something that a head coach should do.
But what will he do to correct the mistakes of his team and help them “play at a higher pace?”
When Rivers became the coach a few months ago, it took time for the team to find it’s footing and start working well under his direction.
But they eventually did, improving their game on both ends of the court.
They have recently slipped up and fallen into bad habits, leading to these three shocking defeats.
There are just five more games left in the regular season for the Bucks and they are against some tough teams.
How much longer will this stretch of losses continue?
