The Chicago Bears are slated to look a lot different in 2024 than they did in 2023.
After trading away Justin Fields, the Bears effectively committed to selecting a quarterback with the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft.
They are expected to take Caleb Williams in this spot, a player who could make a massive impact on their team makeup for the foreseeable future.
While Williams might seem like the easy choice at No. 1, the Bears also have the No. 9 overall pick, giving them two picks within the top ten.
Many analysts have suggested that the Bears will take a wide receiver in this spot to pair with Williams.
Xavier Worthy’s recent Instagram story indicates that the Bears are at least interested in him, as analyst Max Markham highlighted on Twitter.

Worthy made sure to call out Williams in this story, letting him know he’s in the city to meet with the Bears.
It is unclear if Worthy will be a first-round pick in this year’s draft or if he will fall to the second round.
The speedy receiver prospect out of Texas has gotten mixed reviews from analysts, so it will be interesting to see where he ends up.
If it is with the Bears, Williams could start his career on the right foot, having yet another option to throw to in his first season.
The Bears don’t necessarily have a WR1 on the roster, especially since they will have a new quarterback in this offense, meaning anything can happen as it relates to targets and receivers’ roles on this team.
Who else will the Bears add to support a new quarterback in his rookie season?
