How far can the Los Angeles Lakers go in this postseason?

It’s something that many people are asking as the team is once again posted to participate in the upcoming Play-In Tournament.

Speaking on ESPN, Shannon Sharpe said that he thinks the Lakers can beat the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals, but only the Western Conference Finals.

He thinks the team will fight out of the Play-In and then storm into the postseason again.

Sharpe has a lot of faith in this Lakers team, which is currently the ninth seed in the West with a 45-34 record.

If they are able to get through the Play-In again, they will try to go all the way to the Western Conference Finals like they did last year.

However, this year will be much more difficult because the West is harder than it was in 2022-23.

If they claim the eighth seed, they might have to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are set to have Karl-Anthony Towns back before the playoffs.

That could be a very tough challenge for the Lakers.

But the Nuggets would be even more challenging because they are a team that the Lakers can’t seem to beat.

That being said, Sharpe still thinks that if they match up again this year, LeBron James and his squad will take them down.

Before they can even get to that point, the Lakers need to survive the Play-In.

Right now, they are set to face off against the Golden State Warriors in that tournament but the West is so fluid that anything can change before next week.
