With the NBA playoffs set to get underway on April 20, the playoff picture is starting to come together in both conferences, with the genuine contenders starting to show their true colors while teams that might be pretenders are starting to get exposed.
The Boston Celtics are looking like the team to beat in the Eastern Conference, with Jayson Tatum and company sporting a league-best record of 62-16, while the second-place Milwaukee Bucks are really starting to struggle at the worst time possible.
As of Monday, the Bucks have lost seven of their last 10 games and four straight, with Milwaukee seemingly falling apart with the start of the postseason being right around the corner.
Even though the Bucks are one of the most talented teams on paper, Milwaukee hasn’t been able to impose their will this season and prove they can beat anyone they may face in the postseason.
ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins doesn’t believe that the Bucks are a serious title contender right now, via NBA on ESPN.
“The word is out that they’re soft, and they’re frontrunners,” Perkins said.

With two of the best players in the league, superstars Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks were thought to be an unstoppable force in the East, even though the team took a huge hit defensively by trading Jrue Holiday.
Despite being a team that seems to be headed in a downward spiral, the playoffs are another beast entirely, as Milwaukee might be able to flip the switch once the first round of the postseason gets underway.
