The New York Knicks have been one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference this season.
Several aspects of this Knicks team have helped them succeed, one of which is Jalen Brunson’s dominant play.
Brunson has emerged as the star of this team, but he has recently gained traction across the league as well.
In a video shared by New York Basketball on Twitter, he was recently asked about being talked about as the league MVP.
Brunson quickly dismissed this conversation, saying it “Means nothing to me.”

This indicates that Brunson is much more focused on the team’s success moving forward and less on his personal accolades.
Brunson might not win the MVP Award this season, but the fact that he is in the conversation for this honor is impressive.
With any luck, he can keep playing well, which would potentially help the Knicks make a deeper playoff run than they have in years past.
The Knicks have made the playoffs in two of the past three years, but the furthest they got was the second round, which they achieved last season.
The Eastern Conference seems to go through the Boston Celtics, as they have been the most dominant team in the conference all year.
It will be interesting to see how these teams match up in the playoffs if they play each other.
