We have said it many times, but Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts is one of the most versatile players, athletes, and personalities in MLB.
Not only is he a baseball star, winning MVP awards, World Series, and succeeding at three different defensive positions (second base, shortstop, and the outfield), but he is also a phenomenal bowler, a fantastic athlete, and a charismatic, deep fellow whose baseball knowledge has led him to host a podcast.
That’s right: Betts is quite the on-air talent, in addition to his obvious athletic skills.
He has been so good that he recently got a prestigious nomination from the Sports Emmys.

He is competing for the title of “Emerging On-Air Talent” and will be going up against a really impressive group: Noah Eagle, Carli Lloyd, Taylor Rooks, and Jay Wright will be Betts’ rivals.
Betts hosts a podcast, and he also contributes to other channels and networks as an analyst.
Betts lives and breathes sports, and you can tell that’s the case by the way he talks.
Fans will be attentive and supportive of his case to win the award.
It would be another cool achievement in a career full of them, and we are not talking exclusively about baseball.
The 2024 ceremony of the Sports Emmy Awards will take place on May 21, so we will learn the results next month.
In the meantime, Betts keeps producing amazing numbers with the Dodgers, slashing .375/.508/.792 with a 1.300 OPS in the early going with five home runs and 11 RBI.
What a talented man.
