There is just one week left in the NBA regular season but the Boston Celtics aren’t done making moves.

On Tuesday morning, Michael Scotto reported that the Celtics have signed Neemias Queta to a two-year deal, which includes a team option for the 2024-25 season.

Queta has been with the Celtics all season long, averaging just 11.4 minutes per game and posting an average of 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds.

He has helped the Celtics out multiple times, especially when injuries have flared up and hurt the starting lineup.

Queta was signed to a two-way contract with Boston, meaning he could play with their G League team as well.

But it looks like he may have participated in his last G League game now that this new deal has been signed.

The Celtics have firmed up their lineup and probably won’t be making any more changes before the playoffs kick off soon.

The team is still the best in the entire NBA and they want a roster that’s as strong as possible.

It’s not clear how many minutes Queta can get in the postseason, but he could end up contributing some important minutes off the bench, especially if the team has a long playoff run.

The team has been working hard to improve its depth all season long and this last-minute contract with Queta helps with that.

The last time Queta had minutes on the floor was on March 22, when he had 5 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists in a big win over the Detroit Pistons.

When will Boston fans see him play again?
