The Golden State Warriors turned back the clock with a throwback performance in their win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
They knocked down 26 of 41 three-point attempts while shooting 66% from beyond the arc.
Stephen Curry was 6-from-6 from downtown, with Draymond Green going 5-from-7, Klay Thompson going 5-from-10, Brandon Podziemski going 3-from-3, and Andrew Wiggins knocking down three out of five.
That’s why, following the loss, Lakers coach Darvin Ham simply stated that they had a great shooting night and that the guys that needed to knock down shots knocked down shots (Via Spectrum SportsNet).

Of course, this isn’t the most thorough analysis or the most insightful answer, but it might actually be the more honest one.
The Lakers didn’t have Anthony Davis roaming around, and that always takes a toll on their defense.
They’re supposed to be a defensive-minded team, but the Warriors have the two greatest shooters this game has ever seen, and once they get into a rhythm, it’s hard to do anything about it.
It had been a while since the Splash Brothers had a performance like this, and it showed that they are still a force to be reckoned with when they’re at their best.
The Warriors will still have to go through the Play-In Tournament to earn a spot in the playoffs, and they’ll most likely have to deal with the Lakers, so it’ll be interesting to see if Ham is able to make adjustments to prevent another shooting performance like this one.
