While most of the focus of this month’s 2024 NFL Draft is on the quarterback class headlining it, defensive players – like Alabama cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry – are still in high demand.

McKinstry’s draft value is soaring as multiple NFC teams are expressing interest in the defender.

NFL analyst Jordan Schultz posted on Twitter Thursday that the Philadelphia Eagles, the New York Giants, and the Atlanta Falcons are three teams hosting McKinstry for upcoming top-30 visits.

Alabama CB Kool-Aid McKinstry is a busy man: Sources say he has upcoming 30 visits with the #Eagles, #Giants and #Falcons.

All three teams need a talented cornerback to complete their defensive unit.

McKinstry is projected as a first-round pick after his Pro Day workout and his 4.47-second 40-yard dash time.

Schultz also noted that McKinstry – who had surgery on his foot recently – has cleared the NFL’s medical evaluation and will be ready in time for his future team’s training camp.

Barring a trade, the Giants are the first team among the list that could draft McKinstry as New York owns the No. 6 draft pick.

The Falcons are the next team among the NFC squads Schultz named that could draft McKinstry as Atlanta has the No. 8 overall pick.

Philadelphia’s first shot at drafting McKinstry comes late in the first round with the No. 22 selection.

McKinstry was one of the leaders of the Alabama defensive unit last season, a group that ranked in the top 20 among college’s best scoring defenses.
