The final day of the 2023-24 NBA regular season is finally here and it brings a slate of exciting games with Play-In Tournament ramifications, including for the Philadelphia 76ers who have been surging as of late.

Philadelphia has won their last seven games, largely in part due to the return of Joel Embiid who was sidelined with a knee injury.

With Embiid back on the floor, the 76ers are making a run and look like a team that the higher seeds would preferably like to avoid in the first round of the 2024 NBA playoffs.

Philadelphia will be hosting the hapless Brooklyn Nets on their home floor and are projected as massive favorites to extend their win streak.

A win over the Nets would put the 76ers in pole position to land the No. 6 seed and avoid the Play-In Tournament entirely.

With so much on the line in today’s game, franchise legend Julius Erving is in attendance, via the team’s official Twitter account.

Erving has been to several Philadelphia games and it looks like he wanted to be in attendance to see his former team make a postseason push.

The 76ers can get the No. 6 seed and there’s even a slight possibility that Philadelphia can move up to the No. 5 seed.

Fans will be eagerly checking scores throughout the afternoon to see where the teams ultimately end up in the standings.
