The New York Knicks are walking on the clouds right now.
They managed to steal the No. 2 seed from the Milwaukee Bucks, even if they had to fight in an overtime game in the final game of the season.
Their reward, however, won’t exactly be one they will be looking forward to, as they’ll now have to go against either the Miami Heat or Philadelphia 76ers in the first round.
Whatever the case, Tom Thibodeau’s team has proved that they can compete against anybody, and they’re 20-3 with OG Anunoby in the lineup.
Nonetheless, as good as they’ve been lately, former NBA player Eddie House doesn’t see them making it to the NBA Finals.
In his latest appearance on The Carton Show, House explained that he just doesn’t think they can’t get past the Boston Celtics in a seven-game series.
“I don’t know what it is about you New Yorkers, y’all are delusional.”

That makes sense, as the Celtics have had the best record in the league for most of the campaign, and they’re absolutely stacked at every position.
Perhaps the biggest concern for the Knicks is the fact that Thibodeau absolutely wears his players out, especially in the playoffs.
Having Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Donte DiVincenzo, and OG Anunoby playing 45 minutes a game in the playoffs could end up taking a huge toll on them and their bodies by the time they reach a potential Eastern Conference Finals date with the Celtics.
Even so, it seems like the Knicks are just one piece away from being a legitimate NBA championship contender, and that’s also a huge win for this ever-struggling organization.
